Scott Olin, President of Dickinson Ready Mix wins National Award.

June 15, 2020

Dickinson, ND.  The National Ready Mix Concrete Association awarded the Bruno Benna Advocacy Award to Scott Olin of Dickinson Ready Mix Co.  The award is presented to an NRMCA member who demonstrates exceptional commitment to advancing the industry through participation in NRMCA’s government affairs, political and grassroots programs.  The award is named for Bruno Benna, who served the NRMCA for 60 years engaging in government and public policy on behalf of the ready mix concrete industry.

Olin was presented the award at the NRMCA’s Annual convention in Las Vegas, NV earlier this spring.  A  spokesman for the NRMCA elaborated on Scott’s involvement, “Scott has repeatedly come to Washington to lobby on important policy issues, hosted fundraisers in his home state for members of Congress, taken his Congressman on plant tours in their district and carried the NRMCA’s pro-business pro ready-mix message to his elected officials.”  Scott Olin is the first North Dakotan recognized for a national government affairs award from the organization.

They supply a full range of ready-mix and concrete products to satisfy the construction needs of southwestern North Dakota.  DRM can service contractors, homeowners, DIY’ers, farm, commercial and residential projects.  They have ready mix concrete plants in Dickinson, Killdeer, Beach, and Bowman as well as a Products Division in Dickinson.
