Ben Olin, of Dickinson Ready Mix, chosen for national Industry Leader Program

July 20, 2020

Dickinson, ND. Ben Olin, Technical Services Director of Dickinson Ready Mix, has been selected to join the 2020 class of Developing Industry Leaders by the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association.  Only 21 professionals are selected from many applicants around the country.  Ben Olin is the first applicant from North Dakota to be selected for the program.

The Developing Industry Leaders program is designed to develop middle manager star employees into executive level talent.  It is a career-long plan of action where tomorrow’s leaders interact, both professionally and socially, with more well established executives, gaining a nation-wide perspective about the ready mix concrete industry.  Under the auspices of the NRMCA’s Workforce Development Committee, the goal is to develop insight into critical industry-centric factors at a national and strategic level.  Participants also get the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team of peers from across the county while being mentored by senior NRMCA staff.  During the initial two year period of the program, the participants will be divided into teams to address specific industry challenges and will present their findings to a committee as well as publishing their work in a premier industry journal.
